BOLLYWOOD INSPIRED CONCERT COMES TO TOWN
A taste of South-Asian culture comes to Toronto as the Bollywood inspired INCREDIBLES CONCERT hits ROGERS CENTRE on SUNDAY, MAY 20 at 7:00 pm. Headlining the show is ASHA BHOSLE, considered one of the most versatile South Asian singers of our time. Joining her on stage are the remarkably talented SONU NIGAM, KUNAL GANJAWALA and KAILASH KHER. Despite original rumours that SONU would not participate, organizers and fans are happy to see his name on the playbill.

BHOSLE has sung in over 14 languages including Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, English and Russian. BHOSLE is one of the world’s most treasured singers with a career that spans over six decades. This concert promises to entertain all in attendance.

DUTCH VIOLINIST PLANS FOR SECOND CONCERT – MUSIC TO FANS’ EARS
André Rieu recently announced the addition of a second show, on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. to his Toronto concert series. Planning an elaborate full-stadium show complete with replica Viennese castle, skating rinks, fountains, horses dancers and orchestra, this is the social event of the season. To keep up with ticket demand, a second show has been added! Feel as though you have traveled to Europe without having to leave the city!

Be part of history and join the largest crowd to ever watch an indoor classical music concert. The concerts, hosted December 14th and 15th, 2007 will start at 8:00 pm. Groups of 20 or more are encouraged to send an email to groupsales@rogerscentre.com. For all other tickets, ranging in price from $84.50 to $124.50, are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Rogers Centre -Gate 7, by phone at 416-872-1111 or online at ticketmaster.ca.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL HEATS UP THE ICE
Feld Entertainment, along with Kenny Ortega, are bringing the hit phenomenon HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE ICE TOUR to ROGERS CENTRE from December 21 – 30, 2007 for 10 spectacular shows.

Audiences will celebrate the sounds, the songs, the bop and the pop in this awesome ice show starring a cast of world class skaters portraying the roles of East High’s own, Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, Sharpay, Chad and Taylor. They will be performing to the chart-topping tunes with signature choreography made popular in the Emmy® Award-winning Disney Channel Original Movie and pop culture craze. And, for the first time live, fans will have the opportunity to experience moments from Disney’s High School Musical 2. With the ice as the dance floor, this event will be an unprecedented twist on a fan favourite.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS SCHEDULE AND NOTABLE NEWS
The Blue Jays continue their assault on top spot in the American League East Division as they play 13 home games versus division foes this month with home match-ups against Boston, Tampa Bay, Baltimore and New York.

BOSTON makes a return visit May 8-10, 2007
The Boston Red Sox make their second of three trips to Toronto. This is your last chance to see the teams face-off at Rogers Centre until September.

It’s Cops for Cancer Night at the ballpark. In support of the Canadian Cancer Society, the Toronto Blue Jays have donated 100+ tickets to children suffering from various forms of cancer. During a pregame ceremony, two members of the Toronto Police Services will have their heads shaven in a goodwill gesture to all children afflicted by the disease. Join us tonight for Ladies Night Out. This is a great chance for girlfriends, sisters, mothers or female sports teams to get together and enjoy a baseball game and post-game festivities with players and coaches. Flashback Fridays are back by popular demand. At each Friday home game, a Blue Jays alumnus will be honoured for his contribution to the Club's history. Tonight, spend time with pitcher Paul Spoljaric. Saturday, May 12th @ 1:07 p.m.
It’s a Saturday home game which means its another great Jr. Jays Saturday, presented by The Toronto Star. Kids (14 and under) will announce Blue Jays players as they come to the plate, take part in the seventh-inning stretch and many other activities during Saturday home games. Saturdays are truly about our Jr. Jays! Today, arrive early and join The Doodlebops in a pre-game show and autograph session at Gates 5 & 6 starting at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 13th @ 1:07 p.m.
What a great way to spend Mother’s Day! Come down to the ballpark and watch the Jays as they take care of business on the field. TORONTO ARGONAUTS FOOTBALL
Toronto Argonauts Football begins another season of action on the gridiron with a preseason match-up versus the MONTREAL ALOUETTES on June 9, 2007. Season ticket renewal and Grey Cup payments were due March 31, 2007. New Season Ticket packages for all nine regular season games are on sale. ROGER WATERS - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
The genius behind Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, performs the masterpiece “The Dark Side of the Moon” live at Rogers Centre on Saturday, July 14, 2007. Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, a special block of 500 Level tickets will be going on sale Friday, May 11th at 10:00 am for this special concert event. Priced at $39.50, this is a great opportunity to see this epic rock masterpiece. Originally released in 1973, it immediately established a standard of excellence for its advanced blend of progressive music, philosophical themes, and sonic exploration. Tickets range from $69.50 to $150.00 and are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Rogers Centre -Gate 7, charge by phone at 416-870-8000 or online at ticketmaster.ca..

Be part of a great weekend of Football festivities as the VANIER CUP and GREY CUP are contested at Rogers Centre in November.

The Vanier Cup awarded annually in Canadian University Football since 1965, returns to Toronto on Friday, November 23rd after a two year hiatus. The LAVAL ROUGE-ET-OR have won three of the last four Vanier Cups and look to keep that winning streak alive. Tickets for this event are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Rogers Centre (Gate 7), charge by phone at 416-872-5000 or online at ww.ticketmaster.com. Only 500 Level tickets, $30.00 each, are available without the purchase of a Grey Cup seat.

East and West face-off to crown a Grey Cup champion two days later on Sunday, November 25, 2007. Tickets for the Grey Cup are available through Ticketmaster. Platinum ($529.00)*, Gold ($309.00) and Crimson ($255.00) level seat purchases include a Vanier Cup ticket. Cambridge level tickets are available for $169.00 and Oxford seats are already sold out. DID YOU KNOW ... FUN FACTS:

Rogers Centre is often the location of choice for television and movie directors looking for a great place to shoot a variety of film and media spots. Sport magazines such as ESPN the Magazine and Sports Illustrated have featured print ad campaigns for Texas Instruments and ESPNHD featuring Troy Aikmen that were shot at Rogers Centre.
