Due to the overwhelming ticket demand, new performances for Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour have been added to the performance schedule in Toronto at Rogers Centre.

The new block of tickets go on sale Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 am across the Ticketmaster network which includes online at ticketmaster.ca; charge by phone at 416-870-8000 and at all Ticketmaster outlets including Rogers Centre – Gate 7.
This exciting new ice show extravaganza has become one of the hottest tickets in town, and the additional shows will help to accommodate the numerous box office requests. Combining a live fusion of songs, dancing, and non-stop, team-spirited fun, Disney’s High School Musical: The Ice Tour was inspired by the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, as well as the highly anticipated High School Musical 2.
Spotlighting some of the best skaters in the world, the ice tour features incredible performances set to the chart-topping tunes and signature choreography made popular by the pop culture phenomenon and Emmy® Award-winning High School Musical films. With the ice as the dance floor, this event will be an unprecedented twist on a fan favourite. Produced by Feld Entertainment and Kenny Ortega, Disney's High School Musical: The Ice Tour is the primo way to experience the frenzy.
The tour will hit the Rogers Centre in Toronto Dec. 21 – 30, 2007. Complete show information can be found here.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS SCHEDULE AND NOTABLE NEWS
The Toronto Blue Jays will play 16 of 28 games this month at home in the friendly confines of Rogers Centre. With a home record 11 games above .500, they will be looking to make a move on the competition.

ARGOS TRY TO WIN AT HOME
The Toronto Argonauts will play only one game at home this month as they battle the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday, August 10th at 7:30 pm. Saskatchewan currently sits second in the West Division. Toronto has just returned Damon Allen to the #1 QB position and they will be counting on veterans and rookies alike to get them back in the win column.
A special ticket offer is in effect for this game as the Argos unveil their $5.00 Fridays. For this game only, 500 Level seats can be purchased for $5.00

125TH ANNUAL POLICE GAMES RETURN TO ROGERS CENTRE
The 125th Annual Police Games, featuring athletic competitions such as bicycle races, obstacle courses, police dogs and tug-of-war contests between divisions of emergency services personnel, returns to Rogers Centre on Saturday, September 22, 2007, with proceeds benefiting the Toronto Police Widows & Orphans Fund.
Last year’s event was a wonderful success and this year looks to be even bigger and better. Tickets are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Rogers Centre – Gate 7, online at ticketmaster.ca or charge by phone at 416-870-8000. Tickets are $12.00 per person or $38.00 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Children 5 years of age and younger get in for free.
Be part of a great weekend of Football festivities as the DESJARDINS VANIER CUP and GREY CUP are contested at Rogers Centre in November. In addition to two outstanding games, downtown Toronto will be home to the Grey Cup Festival; a collection of activities all fans can enjoy. The Grey Cup Festival will include two street festivals, both with free admission; the Pespi Front Street Festival and the VIA Rail Bremner Street Festival. The DESJARDINS VANIER CUP awarded annually in Canadian University Football since 1965, returns to Toronto on Friday, November 23rd after a two year hiatus. The LAVAL ROUGE-ET-OR have won three of the last four Vanier Cups and look to keep that winning streak alive. Tickets for this event are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Rogers Centre - Gate 7, charge by phone at 416-872-5000 or online at ticketmaster.ca. Only 500 Level tickets, $30.00 each, are available without the purchase of a Grey Cup seat.
East and West face-off to crown a GREY CUP champion two days later on Sunday, November 25, 2007. Less than 4,000 tickets remain for the big game with all upper level seats already sold out. Tickets for the Grey Cup are available through Ticketmaster. Platinum ($529.00)*, Gold ($309.00) and Crimson ($255.00) level seat purchases include a Vanier Cup ticket. There is a limit of 12 tickets per purchase.
Last season’s Grey Cup match-up was a hard fought battle between the B.C. Lions and the Montreal Alouettes. The Lions emerged victorious with a 25 – 14 win in front of 44,786 rowdy fans! *For Platinum Seating, please call the Toronto Argonauts Front Office at 416-341-ARGO.
DUTCH VIOLINIST PLAYS TWO SHOWS AT ROGERS CENTRE
André Rieu will dazzle fans during his first full-stadium indoor show in December at Rogers Centre. The stage is being created, the skaters selected and the ball gowns custom fit for the social event of the season. The classical music industry will be turned upside down as Rieu unveils a replica of the Viennese Castle of Schonbrünn, complete with skating rinks, fountains, horses, dancers and his 50 member Johann Strauss orchestra. Feel as though you have traveled to Europe without leaving the city!
Be part of history and join the largest crowd to ever watch an indoor classical music concert. The concerts, hosted December 14 and 15, 2007 will start at 8:00 pm. MONSTER JAM RETURNS IN 2008
Monster Jam’s roaring engines, crushing sounds and high flying freestyle competition returns to Rogers Centre on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20, 2008. Top trucks from the Monster Jam Series will entertain fans with unbelievable jumps, stunts and even some thrills and spills. Expect the unexpected every time the trucks leave the starting line.
On Saturday, Rogers Centre will host the action packed Pit Party from 3:00 -5:00 pm. Get a behind the scenes look at the monstrous machines and the fearless drivers who try to tame them each night. This is your chance to interact with drivers, take photos and collect autographs.
Tickets are $27,00 and $22.00 for adults while all children’s tickets (ages 2 – 12) are just $15.00. We are also offering unique Super Value Seats (located on the north side of Rogers Centres' 200 Level) for just $15.00. AMA SUPERCROSS SERIES SELECTS TORONTO AS ONLY CANADIAN STOP Fans of the AMA Supercross Series will be happy to know that Toronto was selected as the only international stop on the 2008 calendar. As the premier off-road full stadium motorcycle racing series in the world, the excitement and action is sure to be revving high on Saturday, March 29, 2008 as the riders take to the course.
Last season Chad Reed took the race win in front of now retired Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart.
