ONE DAY, ONE CANADIAN STOP, ONE LAST CHANCE TO EXPERIENCE MONSTER ENERGY AMA SUPERCROSS

Only International Stop on Race Schedule.
Can Chad Reed repeat as champion?
The 2008 season is racing to a close and Rogers Centre is one of the last stops before Monster Energy AMA Supercross crowns its next champion. On Saturday, March 29, 2008 Toronto welcomes Chad Reed, Kevin Windham, Tim Ferry and the rest of the Supercross roster to battle for top results and standings in this crucial race for points. Race action heats up at 7:00 p.m.

Australian Chad Reed recently won four consecutive Supercross races cementing a substantial lead for him and the Yamaha team atop the leader board. He currently sits 32 points ahead of Kevin Windham.

Reed returns to Toronto as the defending race champion having captured the win on December 2, 2006. Kevin Windham, riding for Honda, has given Reed a run for his money and is picking up speed, and points, with each and every race. Starting strong in 2008, Windham has an effortless style and execution that could propel him to champion status.

Kawasaki’s Tim Ferry also poses a substantial threat to Reed and Windham. Close in the points race and a seasoned veteran of Supercross, Ferry could tighten the lead during the Toronto race.

Fans with tickets to the main race event can come early and watch the practice and qualifying rounds starting at 12:30 p.m. Doors open for the main event at 5:30 p.m. If you happen to be reading the newsletter and you are not in the Toronto area, or its vicinity, have no fear.
