THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR FINISHES FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR LAVISH PERFORMANCE

Rogers Centre is pleased to host the international debut of the Bollywood extravaganza The Unforgettable Tour.

Boasting worldwide attention and international appeal THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR chose Toronto to debut its spectacular live Bollywood show. A touring schedule that includes 26 international dates, Toronto was the first choice for this celebration of song and dance to make its grand entrance. A bevy of Bollywood talent come together on one stage for this highly anticipated production on FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.

With the opening date quickly approaching, the cast and crew are busy with last minute preparations for this intricate and grand show. Rehearsing up to four hours daily to perfect the original dance performances by famed choreographer SHIAMAK DAVAR, these stars of Indian cinema will step out of the screen and onto the stage for one magical evening. Popular Bollywood actors, and international power couple AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN and her husband ABHISHEK BACHCHAN join his father AMITABH BACHCHAN to headline this eagerly awaited show. Fellow Bollywood superstars PREITY ZINTA, RITESH DESHMUKH, LARA DUTTA, BIPASHA and special guest performer for the Toronto show, AKSHAY KUMAR, also add talent and unique style in this opulent production.

THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR enlists the musical talents of pop duo THE BILZ & KASHIF to create an electric and moving score. Weaving their traditional and techno beats throughout the show, this talented duo uses their unique sound to compliment the vocal performances of the actors and their most popular songs. Entertainment in every sense of the word, THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR combines lush visuals, detailed costumes and innovative song and dance for a performance to remember.

THE TORONTO ARGONAUTS FIGHT FOR THEIR TURF IN JULY GAMES AGAINST THE HAMILTON TIGER-CATS AND THE EDMONTON ESKIMOS

Argonauts kick-off 2008 season versus the Tiger-Cats.

The TORONTO ARGONAUTS were a whisker away from declawing the HAMILTON TIGER-CATS during the June preseason game which saw Hamilton narrowly defeat the Boatman 28 to 21. Fired up for round two, the TORONTO ARGONAUTS kick off their 2008 season with a rematch against the HAMILTON TIGER-CATS at Rogers Centre tonight (Thursday, July 3, 2008) at 7:00 p.m.

Toronto fans had heart and hope for their team as the ARGONAUTS took the lead early in the game. By the third quarter, the HAMILTON TIGER-CATS had pounced and began to take the lead away one touchdown at a time. While the TORONTO ARGONAUTS managed to close the gap in the score the game ultimately belonged to their fierce rivals.

Wide receiver JOHNNIE MORANT, previously from the Oakland Raiders, is the newest member of the TORONTO ARGONAUTS roster having signed on with the team at the end of June. One of the fastest and biggest receivers on the team, MORANT is sure to make an impressive impact on the field. The countdown begins for this second round with the HAMILTON TIGER-CATS, and the Boatmen are sure to finally have those cats purring like kittens.

Following the game, fans are invited to SEE YOU ON THE FIELD to meet and mingle with players and cheerleaders.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS HIT THEIR WAY OUT OF JUNE SLUMP

Midway point of season sees changes and push for top spot

Just before the midway point of the 2008 season, The Toronto Blue Jays made a few coaching changes bringing back Manager Cito Gaston for the remainder of the 2008 season. Toronto returns to Rogers Centre in July looking to heat up their offence and climb back into post-season contention.

Having played five NL teams in June, Toronto sets their sights on American League foes and division rivals. The team will also enjoy a four day break during the annual All-Star Game celebrations.

Toronto will face four different opponents over 12 games at home and have many unique theme nights and giveaways planned for almost every home game.

The Toronto Blue Jays will play the following games in July:
July 8 - 10 vs Baltimore Orioles
July 11 - 13 vs New York Yankees
July 25 - 27 vs Seattle Mariners
July 28 - 30 vs Tampa Bay Rays

FLO RIDA CONCERT REMOVED FROM SUMMER SCHEDULE

Tour promoter officially cancels concert.

The Sunrise Group has officially announced the cancellation of the previously rescheduled concert featuring FLO RIDA, DANITY KANE, DAY 26 and DONNIE KLANG.

Individuals with tickets to the concert, dated either May 9 or July 14, are asked to return to their point of purchase to request a refund.

The Bachchan family are Toronto favourites with strong release of their latest movie Sarkar Raj.

Toronto audiences love Bollywood and the June debut of SARKAR RAJ was no exception with the movie cracking the top 10 in its opening week. This epic feature showcases the acting talents of Bollywood royalty AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHANM, ABHISHEK BACHCHAN and AMITABH BACHCHAN who perform together at Rogers Centre this July as part of THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR.

The creation of acclaimed Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma, SARKER RAJ is the sequel to his 2005 hit SARKAR and expands the story of the powerful Nagre family. Steeped in crime, corruption and lust for control, the Nagre family are the Bollywood counterparts to the iconic Corleone family of The Godfather. To the delight of fans around the world, ABHISHEK BACHCHAN and AMITABH BACHCHAN signed on to reprise their father and son roles and recruited AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN, who recently married into the family, to contribute her strong acting talents in this complex drama.
