RECYCLING & WASTE MANAGEMENT
Rogers Centre is pleased to be working in conjunction with Turtle Island for all our recycling and waste management needs. Taking all of the venue's waste from public and private spaces at Rogers Centre for sorting and diversion away from landfills, the venue, along with its internal and external partners all benefit.

Recycling
- Rogers Centre recycled 52.81% of all waste generated in 2009, the other 47.19% of waste was taken off-site to the Turtle Island Recycling facility where it was sorted further to divert more waste from landfill
- Behind the scenes Rogers Centre recycles bottles, cans, plastic, cardboard, white paper, metal, batteries, wooden pallets and fluorescent tubes
- The Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre has a bottle, can and paper recycling program in place for all office areas
- Rogers Centre food vendors have an organic recycling program in place
- Where possible the Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre purchases supplies made with Post Consumer Recycled material
- Rogers Centre also purchases environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible
