U2 360° Tour takes roof off Rogers Centre

Rogers Centre opens roof for concert.
First time since September 2003.
Live music under the stars.
U2 rocks out under open roof.

With the proclamation that “all you need is love and a spaceship,” U2 launched their massive 360° tour in North America this past weekend. With a cylindrical video system of interlocking LED panels, and a steel structure rising 150 feet from the floor over a massive stage with rotating bridges, the band has created a 360° experience for fans.

And now for only the second time in history, Rogers Centre will open its roof on Wednesday, September 16, providing U2 fans with the best possible live music experience, as U2 360° is performed under an open sky.

Weather forecast is sunny throughout the day but it will cool down at night and U2 fans attending the concert should dress appropriately. Weather permitting the roof will be open for both performances. If there is any change to the Thursday concert due to inclement weather an additional announcement will be made.
