The Toronto Blue Jays and Rogers Centre work closely with Aramark Entertainment Services (Canada) Inc, our concessionaire to ensure that we continually look for ways to reduce the amount of material going to landfill by recycling where possible and by purchasing supplies the contain Post Consumer Material or are degradable.

  • Fryer Oil 
  • All fryer oil from Rogers Centre is picked up by Wardlaw's Poultry farm where it is sent for recycling and used as a poultry feed additive
  • Suite Plate Ware 
  • All of our suite plate ware is degradable
  • Organics Recycling 
  • All of our concession kitchens and concession stands recycle organic waste
  • Beer Can Service 
  • Beer can service started in 2011 with the Toronto Blue Jays home opener
  • 9,072kg of plastic will be eliminated from the waste stream through the reduced use of plastic in the building
  • Second Harvest 
  • The Toronto Blue Jays, Rogers Centre and Aramark are working with Second Harvest to donate leftover food items. Second Harvest picks up leftover food items and delivers them to various community groups throughout Toronto.
  • Organic Recycling 
  • All of our production and concession kitchens use the Orca Digester to dispose of organic waste. Any organic waste that cannot be put into the digester is put into green bins for compost production. Find out more about the Orca Digester by visiting
  • Digital Signage
  • All of our concession locations now use digital signage for menu items
